Communications Committee

Communicating with our members, our professional community, and the public is one of our highest priorities. Help us spread the word! Tasks include writing stories for the chapter website, facilitating public awareness activities, and sharing posts on social media.

The committee manages communications to the membership and serves as a membership resource for existing and potential chapter members. The committee oversees how information is distributed to members and publishes the monthly newsletter. The committee also is responsible for all member-to-member contact through the newsletter, website, and email announcements.

  • World Landscape Architecture Month Initiatives
  • Parking Day
  • Prepare & submit articles for the weekly e-newsletter (E-PLAN) to be e-mailed to the membership every Tuesday.
  • Analyze how the Chapter website could be used to disseminate information to the membership.
  • Coordinate website improvements pertaining to internal communications with the webmaster.
